Privacy Policy
Effective August 3, 2026
Information we collect
We collect information you provide to create and manage an account, including your name, email address, profile and security settings, support communications, and billing relationship. Stripe processes payment-card details; Bakmgr receives transaction, subscription, and customer identifiers rather than full card numbers.
To provide backups and monitoring, we process the connection settings, encrypted credentials, schedules, backup metadata, restore requests, monitor targets, usage records, and operational logs you configure or generate. We also retain security and audit data such as login events, IP addresses, user agents, administrative actions, and verification activity.
How we use information
We use this information to operate, secure, troubleshoot, support, bill for, and improve Bakmgr; deliver requested notifications; enforce service limits; investigate abuse; and meet legal obligations. We do not sell personal information.
Optional analytics
Google Analytics is disabled by default. If you select Accept in the analytics banner, the Google tag loads and records aggregate interaction and device information. We disable advertising storage, Google Signals, and ad-personalization features and do not assign your Bakmgr user ID to analytics. Your choice is stored in your browser under bakmgr.analyticsConsent.v1.
You may reject or change your choice at any time using . Rejecting updates consent to denied and removes accessible Google Analytics cookies. Learn more in Google's Privacy Policy.
Sharing and service providers
We disclose information only as needed to operate the service, at your direction, for security or legal compliance, or during a business transaction. Providers may include hosting and infrastructure vendors, Stripe for billing, email/SMS/push delivery providers, Google only when analytics is accepted, and BugMgr when you submit feedback.
Retention and security
Retention varies by record type, plan, configured backup policy, legal need, and account-deletion state. The account-deletion flow displays the current operational windows before confirmation. We use access controls, encryption for stored secrets, audit logging, and transport security, but no system can guarantee absolute security.
Your choices
You can update account information, notification preferences, and security settings in Bakmgr, and can initiate account deletion from Settings. You may also ask for access, correction, deletion, or other rights available under applicable law by opening a support request. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request.
Children and international processing
Bakmgr is a business service and is not directed to children under 13. Information may be processed where Bakmgr and its service providers operate, subject to applicable safeguards.
Changes and contact
We may update this policy as the service or legal requirements change. Material changes will be identified by a revised effective date. For privacy questions or requests, email support@bakmgr.com; signed-in customers may also open a support request.
